An apology to PRSA and its leadership. I was mistaken on the dates…

I owe a public apology to the PRSA and its leadership. I do not believe this should only go as a comment on the specifically relevant post but as a separate post.

Although I remain convinced that the handling by PRSA of the McClellan, Cohen case was in no way an excellent example of effective public relations (would not have begun in the first place, would not have sent the blast email, would not have issued such a corny You Tube statement…), I did make one serious mistake in my reconstruction (thank you Judy Gombita for con-vincing me to a triple check!).
The Cohen CBS piece was not related to PRSA’s decision to take a public position on the McClellan case!
I apologise for this to interested parties as well as to our visitors.

PR Conversations

PR CONVERSATIONS HISTORY: When PR Conversations launched in July 2006, its founder, Toni Muzi Falconi, broke new ground by envisioning and introducing an international, collaborative PR-blog concept, which over the years has resulted in more than 600 posts from a variety of contributors (please visit our Seasoned Posts archive). The earliest version of PR Conversations grew out of Toni’s original blog (tonisblog), which he started sometime around 2005. A redux version (launched in 2010) built upon that strong base and targeted concept, but with a new format and fresh ideas.
