Why is the ‘extended’ concept of diversity so specifically relevant for public relations?

Eighteen months have passed since some 600 professionals, scholars and students from 42 countries met in Trieste, Italy (thanks to Ferpi and the Global Alliance) to discuss for three days on: Communicating for diversity, with diversity and in diversity….…and one hell of a lot of water has since passed under the bridges of our body of knowledge, some of it also inspired by that event. At least some will remember that the Journal of Communication Management actually published the 300 pages of the proceedings of that Conference.
But now a brilliant and young undergraduate student of Milano’s IULM University, Silvia Ravazzani under the tutorship of Prof. Alessandra Mazzei, has written in English a highly interesting and inspiring paper summarizing and rationalising the more innovative and integrable concepts which emerged from that memorable event.
Here is this very valuable document WPRFdiversityDEFINITIVO.doc for your perusal.
We must be very grateful to Silvia for this contribution
